Magamalabares

Magamalabares- Marisa Monte & Carlinhos Brown
                                       A Brazilian rhythm jewelry inspired

Magamalabares
Acqua Mara
A little boatoxaiê!
Who was here,  saw the boat of gazette
Anchoring in the mystery
Musical note among bubbles
that came from our serenades
Flowers that we have offered and never will die
Browning in pots and jars
Angels .. from where did they come from?..

Their welcome lives on the trail..
The books are not sincere..
Who has God as empire
In the world are not alone
hearing bells
****
Magamalabares
Acqua Marã
Um barquinho, oxaiê!
Quem esteve aqui
Viu um barquinho de gazeta
Ancorar no mistério
Notas musicais
Entre bolas de sabão
que de nossas serenatas vieram
Flores que ofertamos
e que nunca morrerão
em vasos e jarros se bronzeiam
Os anjos de onde vem ?
Sua vida bem-vinda na trilha..
Os livros não são sinceros
Quem tem Deus como império
No mundo não está sozinho
Ouvindo sininhos

Primavera- Tin Jewelry

About this coming season, Cecilia Meireles, a Brazilian poetess wrote something...

"My life begins in a colorful orchard, where the nights were only of moonshine and stars. Take me wherever you wish! I've learned with the Springs to allow myself to be cut and to return always whole."
(Cecilia Meireles - in "Drawing" )

In the original language:  "Minha vida começa num vergel colorido, por onde as noites eram só de luar e estrelas. Levai-me aonde quiserdes! - aprendi com as primaveras a deixar-me cortar e a voltar sempre inteira"
 ( Cecilia Meireles-Desenho)

Paradise - Part I

Looks like contradictory the fact that I make and sell jewelry at the same time that dream and talk about simple life. Well, all of us need to survive and make money with that we know how to do. In my case, jewelry, art and music. Superficial things for some, essential luxury for others.. All I know is that I can not live without use my creativity.. My soul would die.
Anyway, what I have to say is that this movie is inspiring and I love it. It is one of the most accurate spiritual perception of the essence of the simple living that I have ever seen. Specially the Village of the Water Mills episode. Who knows one day I get there!
Rent "Dreams", from Akira Kurosawa and have delight!

The link to the second part: a funeral, a celebration of Life..
